Small World Christian Learning Center, a distinctive ministry of First Presbyterian Church for 30 years, is an accredited preschool with developmentally appropriate Christian programs for 3 and 4 year olds (pre-kindergarten) and an afterschool program for elementary school children in kindergarten through grade five. The preschool program offers full-time and part-time positions and a three-strand curriculum (devotional, seasonal, character training) as well as several special children’s music programs, a unique Pre-k graduation ceremony and many exciting events and experiences throughout the year. School age children enjoy devotions, sports, arts/crafts and homework time during the school year in the afterschool program and a specially designed, fun-packed Camp Joy program in the summer and on days public schools are closed.
